ESI Hospital Guwahati

ESIC Hospital Guwahati was established between 1982 and 1983 and was handed over to ESIC in 2006.

Currently, 75 beds are available at the hospital.

Now, the hospital is expanding to 200 beds with cutting-edge facilities.

ESI Hospital Guwahati Assam provides cashless and hassle-free medical services via several Dispensaries and one Annexe Hospital at ESIC Model Hospital in Beltola, Guwahati.

The Hospitals provide emergency care, OPD, and indoor treatment facilities for all main specialties 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Dispensaries solely provide OPD services with a free supply of medicines and dressings, and refer patients for secondary and superspecialty care.

ESI beneficiaries also receive Secondary Care Treatments from affiliated nursing homes and Super Specialty Treatments from affiliated private hospitals.

Benefit after Retirement:

With a nominal annual contribution of Rs. 120/-,

a superannuated,
voluntarily retired, or
pre-maturely retired employee with at least 5 years of insured employment can receive medical benefits for the insured person(IP) and their dependents for 1 (one) year.

The medical benefit is also payable to an insured person who ceases employment due to permanent disability caused by a workplace injuries for the insured person(IP's) and their dependents.

These facilities are available on payment of similar contributions until the date on which he would have vacated the employment upon attaining the age of superannuation, had he/she not sustained such permanent disablement.
