ESIC Paramedical Recruitment 2023 : Educational Qualification

O.T. Assistant:

  • Senior Secondary/10+2 with a science stream or an equivalent from a recognised Board and
  • one year of experience in O.T. of a recognised hospital.

Radiographer

  • Passed 12th grade with a science from a recognised board.
  • A two-year radiography diploma or certificate from an accredited institution;
  • One year of radiography experience in a recognised hospital or health organization.

Junior Medical Laboratory Technologists

  • The candidate must have a 12th-grade science diploma from a recognised board.
  • A Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma with one year of related experience from any government-recognized institution.
  • Desirable qualification : Having a bachelor's degree certificate in medical laboratory science.

Dental Mechanic

  • 10+2 or an equivalent degree in science from a school or board that has received government recognition.
  • A two-year dental mechanics diploma from a school that has been approved by the Dental Council of India.
  • Must be a member of the Dental Council.
  • Two years of relevant experience from a reputable hospital.

Medical record assistant:

  • 12th-class diploma from any recognised board.
  • A certificate of training in medical record technology from a recognised institution.
  • A computer-based typing speed of 35 words per minute for English and 30 words per minute for Hindi, respectively (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute translate to 10500 and 9000 key depressions, respectively, assuming an average of 5 key depressions per word).

Audiometer Technician:

  • Four years of audiology schooling, including an internship of one year; OR
  • A two-year audiology degree combined with two years of experience working as an audiometer technician in a hospital, government agency (central or state), autonomous organisation (public sector undertaking), university, or accredited institution.

Social Guide/Social Worker:

  • A degree or diploma in social work from a Central Government, State Government, or AICTE recognised institution is required to work as a social worker or social guide. 
  • It is preferable to have one year of experience in family planning, social work, or health education/training.

Pharmacist (Allopathic):

  • Allopathic pharmacists must possess a pharmacy degree or a senior secondary school diploma with a pharmacy diploma from an accredited institution
  • To be licenced and registered under the Pharmacy Act of 1948.

Pharmacist (Ayurveda):

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy in Ayurveda from a Government (Central or State Government) recognized institute
  • One year of experience as a Pharmacist (Ayurveda) from any Government (Central or State Government) recognized Dispensary or Hospital.
  • 12th class passed with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology). OR
  • Ayurvedic chemist with a diploma from an institution accredited by the Central Government
  • or a State Government and three years of experience working in an Ayurvedic hospital or dispensary that has been approved by the Central Government or a State Government.

Pharmacist (Homeopathy):

  • For the position of chemist (homoeopathy), you must have completed your 12th grade in the science stream from an accredited board
  • Obtained a diploma or certificate in homoeopathic pharmacy from an institution accredited by the Central or State governments.
  • Desirable qualification: Computer Proficiency
