ESIC Corporation is recruiting Specialist Grade-II (Junior and Senior Scale) for the Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, and Delhi regions.

Medical graduates are invited to apply online for a post as a Specialist Grade-II (Senior Scale) on a direct recruiting basis with the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).

RECRUITMENT OF SPECIALIST GRADE II in ESIC

Upper Age Limit: 

45 years old as of 20.04.2022.

Employees of the Employees' State Insurance Corporation and Government Servants are exempt from this post for up to 5 years.

As per the instructions of the Government of India, the upper age limit is also relaxed for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Age relaxation

Eligibility Criteria

GR. II SPECIALIST (SR. SCALE)

Salary: 

According to the 7th CPC, Level–12 of the Pay Matrix has a beginning pay of Rs. 78,800/-.

In addition, to pay, DA, NPA, HRA, and Transport Allowance will be available, depending on the rules in effect at the time.

Age Limit

Not more than 45 years old as of April 20, 2022.

Relaxable for employees of the Personnel' State Insurance Corporation and government employees for up to 5 years. 

According to the government of India directives, the upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen candidates might also be relaxed.

Age relaxation

SC, ST, and OBC candidates would be eligible for age relaxation to the degree that these categories are represented on the job.

If vacancies in any of the above specialties are not reserved for these groups of applicants, the candidates will not be eligible for any age reduction.

Essential Skills and Experience: - Super Specialities Specialist Gr. II (Sr. Scale)

  1. A recognized medical qualification listed in the first or second Schedules of Part-II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (other than licentiate qualifications).
  2. Having educational qualifications listed and mentioned in Part-II of the 3rd Schedule must additionally fulfill the eligibility criteria of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act (IMC Act), 1956, Sub-Section (3).
  3. A postgraduate degree in the relevant specialty, as listed in Table A, or an equivalent qualification.
  4. After completing the first postgraduate degree, five years of experience in the relevant specialty is required.

Language test: 

candidates must have passed a middle-level examination in the official language of the state in which the vacancies are announced, or if no candidate meets the requirements, the selection board may propose candidates with working knowledge of the local language.

Education and other Qualifications: 

  1. A recognized medical qualification is listed in the first or second schedule or part-ii of the third schedule to the Indian medical council act, 1956 (other than licentiate qualifications).
    Posing of educational criteria listed in part-ii of the 3rd schedule must additionally fulfill the eligibility requirements of section 13 of the Indian medical council act, 1956, sub-section (3).
  2. A postgraduate degree in the requisite specialty as listed in table a.
  3. Work experience in a responsible position related to the specialty for at least the following period of time:
  • a) three years if you have a postgraduate degree.
  • b) 5 years if you have a post graduate diploma.

Language test: 

candidates must have passed a middle-level examination in the official language of the state in which the vacancies are announced, or if no candidate meets the requirements, the selection board may propose candidates with working knowledge of the local language.

GR. II SPECIALIST (JUNIOR SCALE)

Pay Scale : 

Level 11 of the Pay Matrix, with a starting salary of Rs. 67,700/- as per the 7th CPC. In addition, to paying, DA, NPA, HRA, and Transport Allowance will be allowed as per the rules in effect at the time.

Age Limit

No more than 45 years old as of April 20, 2022. Relaxable for employees of the Employees' State Insurance Corporation and government employees for up to 5 years.

As per the instructions of the Government of India, the upper age limit is also relaxed for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Qualifications in Education and Other Areas: 

  1. A recognized medical qualification is listed in the first or second Schedules of Part-II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (other than licentiate qualifications). Holders of academic qualifications listed in Part-II of the Third Schedule must additionally fulfill the criteria of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, Sub-Section (3).
  2. A postgraduate degree in the requisite specialty as listed in Table A.
  3. Work experience in a position of responsibility related to the specialty for a period of a) 3 years in the case of a Post Graduate degree holder; b) 5 years in the case of a Post Graduate degree holder.

Language Test: 

Candidates must have passed a middle-level examination in the official language of the state where the recruitment is publicized, or if no candidate complies, the Selection Committee will have the authority to recommend candidates who have worked knowledge of the local language.

Selection Procedure for ESIC Specialist Grade II
